Description

Gooseneck Podium Microphone Hire | Samson CM20P

Gooseneck Podium Microphone Hire from CAL-X Rentals. When speaking from a podium or lectern you may well need a microphone for larger audiences. There are mics specially designed for this purpose. A gooseneck mic is ideally what you are looking for in these circumstances. It has a sturdy base and a long flexible neck. This will allow for hands free use and the ability to position the mic exactly where you want it. These mics also reduce ambient noises from being picked up by the mic.

The microphone we stock is the Samson CM20, which is a professional gooseneck microphone. It offers a high-quality cardioid element, designed to reject off-axis noise. This mic is designed and is optimized for capturing vocals in lectures, conferences, speeches, and public speaking environments. It is supplied with the Samson CMB1 base. This base is weighted for support and is programmable for “Push to Talk” or “Push to Mute” operation. The base is fitted with a 10m XLR cable to connect to a desk to provide the required 48v phantom power.

This Gooseneck podium microphone is a product by Samson. This is their description of the mic.

“The CM20P features a flexible top and bottom section that allows a variety of positioning applications. The condenser element and cardioid pickup pattern provides optimum sound quality for all types of speech and vocal presentations.”
